Mon, 12 December, 2022

The Non-Metallic Innovation Centre would like to welcome two new NIC Associate Members.

Specialty RTP, is an international manufacturer of reinforced thermoplastic pipe (RTP) with both onshore and offshore experience in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America and the United States. Solvay, on the other hand, offer specialty polymers that are specifically engineered to address design challenges meeting critical performance requirements for key markets including oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, batteries, healthcare and many more. Both companies signed the agreement to join the NIC Associates Membership Programme at AMI Oil and Gas Non-Metallics 2022.

NIC Associate Membership is available to supply chain companies who can help provide potential non-metallic solutions for the oil and gas industry, and are interested in the development of non-metallic pipeline technologies.

Associate Members are able to share the cost of R&D and access TWI expertise in non-metallics for oil and gas as well as gaining entry to the NIC Associates Research Programme.

This collaboration with technical experts will not only help to commercialise promising technology solutions but will also help develop strategies for the innovation of non-metallic pipelines.

We look forward to working with Specialty RTP and Solway new non-metallic solutions for the oil and gas industry.
