In 2021, the Non-metallic Innovation Centre (NIC) launched an Associate Programme, allowing more companies to engage with the NIC Sponsors and TWI. Associate companies will have the opportunity to get involved by providing potential solutions to the NIC challenges, while gaining a host of benefits at the same time. This programme will also allow the NIC to get closer to oil and gas supply chains and foster technical collaboration across organisations.

Associate Membership is available to supply chain companies who can provide potential non-metallic solutions for the oil and gas industry, and are interested in the development of non-metallic pipeline technologies.

Associate Members are able to share the cost of R&D and access TWI expertise in non-metallics for oil and gas as well as gaining entry to the NIC Associates Research Programme. In addition, this programme allows members to further engage with TWI and the NIC sponsors, Aramco and ADNOC.

Membership benefits include:
